Dengeki Daisy Manga Review

Dengeki daisy is very much like purikyuu but has a much more intricate storyline.

Dengeki daisy manga review. I have to admit it is just another shoujo manga but there are several elements in it that kept me hooked. The premise for this manga was unique and the characters felt relatable. It is published in kyoto japan in betsucomi magazine and has been published into sixteen tankobon. Also if youre a fruits basket fan i suggest checking this series out too.

Light spoiler alert one of the few mangas who actually had me shedding tears. Dengeki daisy has them both and its such a joy to see. If youre into shoujo manga where the conflict doesnt revolve around the romance but around normal life situations i suggest you check this series out. When i started this manga i was prepared for it to be a typical shoujo manga.

Based on the positive comments it was receiving i decided to add it to my already massive to read list. Shoujo is known for its obscenely perfect guys as well as the air headed heroines who fall for them. Oh how wrong was i. Being by the same author the art is the same and the plot is easy to understand.

Its quite different and nice. Another overrated shoujo manga with a simple plot and the cliche catch phrase ill protect you. Dengeki daisy starts strong with great chemistry and a lot of humour. Deeply moving panels of expressive grief or desire.

Dengeki daisy has some of the best manga caps ive seen. Electric shock daisy is a japanese shojo romance manga by kyousuke motomi. Dengeki daisy is one of the sweetest manga series ive ever read. Absolutely funny panels of the characters in chibi form being completely outrageous.

Im glad to say that i was pleasantly surprised. Shoujo fans looking for a romance story with more story less romance or who are just sick of the typical high school with the school prince will find dengeki daisy a wonderful read. Dengeki daisy s main source of drama is not surprisingly the love story. Now i know there are a lot of dengeki daisy fans out there but i honestly found this manga lacking.

However after six or so volumes the arcs repeat you realise the villains are the same weak opponents and the plot goes nowhere until the final two volumes. I read through it all in just two sittings. Although purikyuu doesnt have the length that dengeki daisy has it is still a really good read. I recall my initial thoughts on dengeki daisy as i first came across its information page.

Read until you get bored. Dengeki daisy was recommended to me by one of the many amazing shoujo communities i follow on facebook.
